Below are some important Questions and Answers asked about Easy Ramp.

Q Is the ramp automatic?
A No it has been specially designed with safety in mind, as there have been problems with some automatic ramps.

Q If the ramp is not automatic how does it work?
A The ramp is assisted by you, you just pick the ramp up and it will go up with ease.

Q Does this mean that I won’t have to ask anyone to help me lift the ramp?
A You won’t have to ask anyone, you will be able to pick it up very easily on your own.

Q How does it work?
A The easy ramp system is fitted to your air system on the lorry.

Q What if my lorry doesn’t have air brakes or air on the vehicle?
A Most Lorries have either air brakes or an air system on the vehicle.

Q If easy ramp is fitted to my air brakes could it affect my brakes?
A No, the system is fitted to the ancillary pneumatic tank; it does not go near your brake system.

Q Can I turn the system off and return to my conventional ramp?
A Yes, all you have to do is turn the switch, which we fit to exterior of your box, to either off/on it’s as simple as that.

Q Do I need to have a new ramp fitted?
A No The existing ramp stays as it is.

Q Is the switch electrical, and if so how does it work if the battery goes flat on my Lorry?
A The switch mechanism is not electrical, and unlike electrical designed ramps if your battery goes flat the easy ramp system still works.

Q Does the lorry have to be running for the easy ramp to work?
A No the ramp will work without the lorry running after about half a dozen lifts, you will need to start the lorry, and this will then allow the ancillary tank to be re-filled.

Q Where can I have this system fitted?
A You can either bring your horsebox to our workshops or we can arrange for an engineer to fit the Easy Ramps system at your place. Obviously there would be an extra charge for this.

Q Are you able to sell this in kit form, I would like my fitter to install on my vehicle?
A Not yet as we would like engineers to be trained by us.

Q Is the system heavy, and will it affect my carrying capacity?
A No the total system weighs under 10kilos

Q What if I sell my box, can I fit the system to my next box?
A Yes, this is the beauty of this system, its easily transferable. Also when you advertise that the horsebox has an Easy Ramp system fitted it usually helps to sell the Horsebox easier.
